Under 2 years old:

2 to 3 years old:
1 adult to 5 children
3 years +:
1 adult to 8 children

Staff Ratios:

Little Cherubs work to a high ratio of staff to children to ensure your child has the best level of care. The ratios differ according to the age group of children:

Nursery Proprietor

Shamim Hussain comes from a background of Social Work and is a qualified nursery practitioner.  Shamim has a firm vision of what makes a good nursery and combines flexibility for the parents and support for the staff with a fun, caring and high quality experience for all the children. Plus Shamim brings all the experience of parenthood into the nursery!

Manager

My name is Hardip and I am the Manager at Little Cherubs Solihull. I hold a level 5 qualification and I have worked within the childcare sector for 20+ years! Leading such a passionate team and seeing our children grow and thrive together, truly makes this role a joy. I am so proud of the children’s efforts and on-going progress they make, both big and small.

Admin

My name is Sairah and I am Admin but you may see me in the room sometimes too. I am level 3 qualified and have been working in childcare for over 15 years. I have worked with all ages and even took some time out when I had my 2 girls. I have 2 amazing daughter’s, a 9 year old and 6 year old. When I had time out to look after my children I went into nannying, so I’ve always worked with children, I couldn’t see myself doing anything else!

Deputy Manager/ Baby Room Leader

My name is Neelam and I am baby room leader. I am also Level 3 qualified and I am a mother of a lovely boy who is 10 years old.I have been working at Little Cherubs for nearly 6 years. I love working with children and doing messy play activities. My goal for working with children is to see them develop and achieve in different areas of their learning. 

Toddler Room Leader/Senior staff

Hi, my name is Sabaa, I am a level 3 practitioner and have been working as a nursery nurse for 10 years. I love planning messy activities for my children and enjoy watching them build their own personalities

Toddler Room Staff

Hi, my name is Athiya, I am level 3 qualified practitioner and I am based in the Toddlers room! I have always had a passion to work with children and watch them learn and grow into their personalities! I have worked with children since 2023 and I absolutely enjoy doing all things fun with my Toddlers!

Baby Room Staff

Hi, my name is Katie and I am level 3 qualified working in baby room. I have been working at Little Cherubs since October 2022. I enjoy seeing the babies develop and thrive every day and love teaching them new things getting them ready for when they move down to Toddlers. I love watching the babies grow up and discover their personalities and gain friendships to grow up with.

Preschool Room Leader

Hi, my name is Kaylah. I am level 2 qualified in childcare, and I am currently working towards my level 3 childcare qualification. I work in the preschool room as the room leader and have worked at Little Cherubs since December 2023. I love doing messy play with the children and feel as though I have created some wonderful relationships with everyone. I really enjoy seeing each child develop their personalities and watching their confidence grow within the setting.

Preschool Room Staff 

Hi, my name is Sabba I have recently started little cherubs. I am level 3 qualified and have been working in nursery’s since 2015. I work in preschool and I’m passionate about creating a fun, caring, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. I especially enjoy supporting children with activities that encourage independence and school readiness. Watching each child’s personality shine as they learn, grow, and build friendships every day!

Baby/Toddler Room Staff 

Hi, my name is Macie, I recently started here as a level 2 apprentice. I work with babies and toddlers. I enjoy working with the children and watching them come out of their shells and growing in the thriving environment in the setting.

Cook

My name is Pamela and I am the cook and I am level 3 in food hygiene. All the children call me cookie Pam, I enjoy cooking for the children. I have the children tapping the gate calling for me. I have a good relationship with the children and enjoy being a part of the nursery.

Cleaner

Theresa is our housekeeper and you will also see her help within the nursery.
